Term of Use

1. Payment Method
We accept the following methods of payment: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard) via Paypal, direct deposit into our bank account, personal or business cheque. All cheque payments require 3 days to clear prior to shipment.

2. Return Policy
MoreDesign provide an unconditional return policy on any item during the delivery day. If for any reason whatsoever you are not satisfied, you can change to other items in original, unmarked condition and packaging within 7 days. (excluded transportation charges)

Prior to returning your product, please email to sale@moredesign.asia or call our customer service center. Our customer service team will provide you with all relevant information and steps to proceed with the return. Please do not attempt to return any goods before speaking to our team.

Consumer warranty apply under the Malaysia Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes the application of those warranty. If a Product has a minor defect, we will provide a repair or offer you a replacement. If a Product has a major defect, you are entitled to reject the goods and receive an identical replacement, or one of similar value if reasonably available.

3. Damage or Faulty Returns
You have 7 days from the time of receiving your order to notify us in the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or faulty. Please send an email to sale@moredesign.asia or call our customer service team.

You may be required to send photos of the damage or fault for further assessment by our quality control team. Once assessed and approved by our specialists, our customer service team will contact you to process a credit note or organize a replacement item. Please do not return the items before speaking our customer service teams. (excluded transportation charges)

We will not refund or replace a product where in our reasonable opinion the product has become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use, using it in an abnormal way, failure to take reasonable care or use in a high traffic or commercial space.

4. Shipping and Handling

  • 4.1 Delivery Times and Areas
    We deliver throughout Malaysia. Our policy is to keep you informed. Once your order has been prepared for shipment and ships, you will be notified by one or more of the following ways: email to your nominated email address, by telephone and/or by SMS.

    We ship throughout Malaysia and we ship orders of various sizes and fragility. To meet these requirements we use a variety of professional carriers. Your location and order size will impact on the speediness we can get your order to you.
     
  • 4.2 When can I expect my Order?
    EX-STOCK
    - Klang Valley metropolitan within 5 working days. - For most other metropolitan areas please allow between 5 to 10 working days depending on the size and complexity of your order.

    INDENT ORDER
    - 40 to 60 days depending on the complexity of your order.

    If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 2 business days.
     
  • 4.3 How Can I Track my Order?
    Small orders can be tracked by using the consignment information that will be sent to your email address and mobile phone, together with the link to the appropriate carrier we are using.

    For larger orders that require a high level of co-ordination, you will be called in the days leading up to your order being delivered. Our professional furniture removalists will synchronize a delivery time and date.
     
  • 4.4 What Time of the Day will my Order be Delivered?
    Deliveries are normally made between 11am to 8pm. For larger orders you will called to synchronize a more precise delivery time.
     
  • 4.5 Signature on Delivery
    All shipments contain valuable goods. Because of this, our carriers are contracted to produce a Proof of Delivery. If you will not be at home to accept delivery you may wish to arrange delivery to your work address. If you choose to ship to your work address do not forget to add that information into your delivery address option.

    We are unable to accept any responsibility for your order once delivered if your order left without the carrier obtaining a signature.
     
  • 4.6 What if I need to Return my Delivery
    Please contact Customer service assistance and the team will serve you accordingly.
     
  • 4.7 Will I Have Help to Take the Goods Inside my Home or Business?
    Deliveries for non-bulky and non-fragile goods are to your front door only. For bulky or fragile goods we believe your purchase deserves a special degree of handling and care. To ensure this we use professional furniture removalists who call to confirm a time for delivery and take extra care throughout the entire process. Your item/s will be hand unloaded and carefully placed in your home or office. This service does not include unpacking, rubbish removal and old furniture removal.
     

 

5. Changes to Orders and Cancellations
Orders can be changed or cancelled up to 24hrs after your order has been placed. Any changes made after this period may incur additional charges.

6. Re-delivery charges
If products fail to delivered within the agreed time due to nobody receive, we will charge transportation fees for redeliver.

7. Warranty Claim
MoreDesign provides this warranty (“Warranty”) for its products that have been purchased in Malaysia. The benefits provided in this Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of a consumer under the Malaysia Consumer Law, and any other laws in relation to the products to which this Warranty relates. This Warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. This Warranty is not transferable and does not cover products used for commercial purposes unless otherwise stated. This Warranty does not cover upholstery (including recliners) fabrics, furniture coverings (including foam, leather, vinyl) and finishing (including stitching, glue, nails, tacks).

The Warranty period commences from the date of your purchase from MoreDesign. The period of the Warranty will be:
- 2 years for upholstery frames (upholstery is sofas, ottomans, daybeds, chaises and armchairs) and office chair mechanism
- 1 year for furniture, lighting, housewares and any other product which MoreDesign identifies in writing as attaching this Warranty; and

Exclusions: This Warranty will not apply if;
- Repairs to a product are made or attempted by a service provider other than MoreDesign or approved supplier.
- The product is subject to natural wear and tear.
- The consumer used the product is an abnormal manner for example if the product is abused, misused, dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surface, exposed to extreme heat (including fire) or cold, not maintained properly or used after partial failure and used in Public and higher traffic areas with unrestrained behavior of patrons.
- The product has been modified, incorrectly adjusted or operated, subjected to incorrect electrical supply or inconsistent electrical supply or used with inappropriate accessories.
- The product is tampered with in any way.

8. Insurance
All shipping costs are exclusive of insurance.

9. Pricing and Product Availability
We exercise great caution in trying to avoid errors in pricing and product information! If such mistakes occur, we reserve the right to correct them. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. MoreDesign reserves the right to change the units available for the Daily Deal promotion at any time throughout the duration of the promotion.

10. Security Policy
When purchasing from MoreDesign your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128 bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128 bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one million years to break and is the industry standard.
